Baked Cheese Rice


Baked cheese rice is a dish that is loved by many people. Its origins come from centuries of cultural exchange, with many forms of cheese and rice existing even in the Middle Ages! It’s a simple yet delicious dish that consists of rice, cheese, vegetarian ham and vegetables. It can be made from leftover rice or by cooking freshly made rice and topping it with cheese before serving it. With just a few simple ingredients, make this quick and easy recipe in the kitchen.

1 tbsp | Oil or margarine |
40 g | Vegetarian ham, cubed |
6 | Fresh button mushroom, sliced |
2 bowls (360g) | Cooked rice |
15 pcs | Baby tomato, cut into 2 |
3 tbsp | Grated mozzarella cheese |
Ingredients A:
1 tbsp | Chopped pasley |
1 tbsp/12 g | SERI-AJI® Tom Yam Seasoning |
2 tbsp | Grated mozzarella cheese |

- Heat up oil or margarine, pan-fry ham and button mushroom until fragrant. Keep aside.
- In a bowl, add in rice, fried ham and button mushroom, and ingredients (A), mix well.
- Put rice into a oven proof baking dish, add in tomato and sprinkle 3 tbsp grated mozzarella cheese on top.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 2000C for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Serve hot.
