Flavoured Indian Rice with Vegetables

2 cup | Basmati rice |
3 tbsp | Cooking oil |
¼ tsp | Coriander seed |
¼ tsp | Cumin seed |
¼ tsp | Mustard seed |
1 tsp | Ginger paste |
1 tsp | Garlic paste |
5 | Shallot, chopped |
4 cups | Water |
1 tbsp | SERI-AJI® Kampung Fried Rice |
Ingredients A: diced
1 | Red chilli |
1 | Green chilli |
¼ cup | Red capsicum |
¼ cup | Green capsicum |
¼ cup | Yellow capsicum |
¼ cup | Carrot |

- Wash rice and drain.
- Heat oil and saute coriander seed, cumin seed and mustard seed.
- Add in ginger paste, garlic paste and shallot. Saute for a while.
- Add in ingredients (A).
- Add rice, stir vigorously until rice is coated with oil before adding water. Add SERI-AJI® Kampung Fried Rice Mix and stir before covering.
- Cook on low heat until cooked.
