Kerabu salad is a traditional spicy and tangy Malaysian salad that is typically served as a side dish. This is a dish that consists of coriander, tomatoes and onions mixed with squid. This dish is often served with a sauce made from fish sauce, lime juice and brown sugar. The vegetables are then chopped into small pieces, mixed with the sauce combination. Malaysians of all races love this condiment and it is a must-have for those with a spicy palate. It is best paired with grilled meat, seafood or plain white rice.

|3 cloves||Garlic (finely chopped)|
|1||Red Onion (sliced)|
|8||Bird’s Eye Chili (finely chopped)|
|1||Tomato (finely chopped)|
|3 stalks||Lemongrass (finely chopped)|
|4||Shallot (finely chopped)|
|2 pieces||Coriander Leaves (finely chopped)|
|2 pieces||Ginger Flower (finely chopped)|
|3||Red Chili (finely chopped)|
Ingredients for Sauce:
|3 tbsp||Brown Sugar|
|2 tbsp||Fish Sauce|
|1 tbsp||SERI-AJI® Multipurpose Deep Fry Seasoning|
|3 tbsp||Lime Juice|
|1 tbsp||Sesame Oil|
- Put all the ingredients for sauce in the pan. Cook over low heat until the brown sugar dissolves. Set it aside.
- Cut squid into rings and boil it.
- Mix all the ingredients with the sauce until it is even.
- Leave it in the fridge for an hour then it is ready to be served.
