Recipe Description
Korean Seafood Pancake or better known as 'Pajeon' is a delicious crispy pancake made from scallion, chili and also can use chives. Then, mixed with various seafood such as shrimp and squid. This Korean Seafood Pancake recipe is easier to cook and tastier using Seri-Aji® Cucur Fried Flour.
Ingredients
1 packet | Seri-Aji® Fritter Seasoned Flour 225g |
325 ml | Water |
50 g | Shrimp, deveined, cut into cubes |
50 g | Squid, cut into rings |
Enough | Cooking oil |
5 string | Spring onion, halved |
2 nos | Red chili, sliced |
Ingredients A: dipping Sauce
2 tbsp | Soy sauce |
1 tbsp | Vinegar |
½ tsp | Hot pepper flakes |
1 tsp | Sesame seed, pan-toasted |
1 string | Spring onion, thinly sliced |
Method
- Mix ingredient (A) then set aside.
- Mix Seri-Aji® Fritter Seasoned Flour 225g with water.
- Add in shrimp and squid, mix well.
- Heat cooking oil in a pan, pour the batter then place spring onion and sprinkle red chili.
- Cook for 6 minutes or until the bottom side is crispy and brown. Then turn the pancake over and cook for another 6 minutes.
- Serve with dipping sauce.
