1 tbsp | Barley, washed and pre-soaked |
1 tsp | Cooking oil |
1/4 cup | Chopped onion |
1 tbsp | Chopped garlic |
1 inch | Ginger,sliced |
1/4 cup (65 g) | Chicken breast |
3 pcs | Medium prawn |
1/4 cup | Carrot, diced |
1/4 cup | Broccoli |
Some | Yellow capsicum, diced |
1 stalk | Baby bok choy, cut small |
1/2 pc | Soft tofu |
1 pc | Dried shitake mushroom, pre-soaked and slice |
1 tbsp | Thick soy sauce |
1/2 tbsp | Oyster sauce |
1 tsp | AJI-SHIO® Flavoured Black Pepper |
1 tsp | Sesame oil |
4 small pcs | Cherry tomato, halved |

- Boil Yee Mee, then toss.
- Heat 1 cup of water, boil barley until cooked. Set aside.
- Sauté onion, garlic and ginger with cooking oil till the ingredients become fragrant.
- Add chicken meat and cook for a few minutes.
- Add barley & water, prawn, carrot, broccoli, capsicum, baby bok choy, soft tofu, and mushroom. Cook till the vegetables become soft.
- Season with thick soy sauce, oyster sauce, AJI-SHIO® Flavoured Black Pepper and sesame oil. Boil for a few minute.
- Off the fire and pour the sauce onto the Yee Mee. Garnish with cherry tomato.
- Serve hot.
