Ingredients
Ingredients

Ingredient A: marinade

500 g Chicken meat, cut into strip
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tbsp Sweet soy sauce
1 no Egg
1 tbsp Corn flour
Enough Cooking oil

 

Ingredient B: coating

1/2 cup Wheat flour
1/2 cup Corn flour

 

Ingredient C: sauce

2 pips Garlic, minced
2 inch Ginger, julienned
3 tbsp Lemon juice
1 tsp Lemon zest
1 cup Water (add more if necessary)
1 tbsp Sugar
1 tbsp Honey
1 tbsp Vinegar
1 tbsp Corn flour, mix with 2 tbsp of water
1¾ tsp AJI-NO-MOTO®
3/4 tsp Salt
1 tsp Toasted sesame seed
1 stalk Spring onion, garnishing
Method
Method
  1. Marinate the chicken for a while with ingredients (A) except oil.
  2. Mix ingredients (B) in a bowl, coat the marinated chicken and fry it until crispy and golden. Set aside.
  3. For the sauce, heat some oil, sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant. 
  4. Add lemon juice, lemon zest, water, sugar, honey, vinegar and corn flour mixture. Let it boil and thicken. Season it with AJI-NO-MOTO® and salt.
  5. Pour the sauce on top of the chicken and garnish it with sesame seed and spring onion. Ready to served.

With the application of AJI-NO-MOTO®, it is able to reduce about 15% of sodium while maintaining the same deliciousness of the dish.
