Some Cooking oil
1 no Holland onion, sliced
2 pips Garlic, sliced
2 inches Ginger, sliced
1 stalk Lemon grass, bruised
3 cup Water
2 tsp Turmeric powder
6 pcs Bird eyes chillies, bruised
1 pc Dried tamarind
1/4 cup Tamarind juice
2 pcs Kaffir lime leaves
20 pcs Medium size prawn
1¾ tsp AJI-NO-MOTO®
¾ tsp Salt
1 strand Turmeric leaf, sliced (garnishing)
Method
Method
  1. Heat oil, sauté onion, garlic, ginger and lemon grass until fragrant.
  2. Add in water, turmeric powder, bird eyes chillies, dried tamarind, tamarind juice and kaffir lime leaves. Let boil for a while.
  3. Add in the prawn and season with AJI-NO-MOTO® and salt.
  4. Garnish with turmeric leaf, ready to serve.
